Dutton was fed 3 times a day. His daily feed requirements prescribed by his trainer and veterinarian was: 16 scoops of grain per day, 8 scoops of beet pulp, and 4-5 California flakes of hay, combined with an variety of expensive supplements and medications for his injury.
Dutton began Lisa’s program, consisting of the LavenderSage Performance Blend along with prescribed varieties of produce, in May 2006. Lisa removed all grains, beet pulp and supplements from his diet as well as reducing the amount of hay.
Dutton began to maintain a healthy weight in just 2 weeks.
