Riley Dec 18th 2009

Horse: Riley

Occupation: Dressage

Diagnosed: Auto Immune deficiency , Ulcers, and skin condition.

Human Companion: Jennifer

Location: California

September 2009: I would love to find out what you see as his issues prior to deciding to pick him up. Please let me know what you think and if yes, what the fee would be so I can get that to you.

In summary, his current issues per the director are:

Low weight

Ulcers

Skin Condition above and on the top of his tail

Also, I noticed his left hind (facing him it would be my right) leg had a possible old injury??? The director said that it hasn’t caused him any problems and is of unknown origin as they adopted him with unknown history. She did say that he moves stiff prior to warm up…I assume due to his age??

Please let me know your thoughts…

Thank you,

Jennifer

Riley's Tail After 30 Days On Lisa's Program

November 8,2009:

Hi there!

Just wanted to share these new photos of Riley after a little over a month on your program (the herbs for the last two weeks too!). I just compared them to the before photos and wow!

I am so excited and he gets a bit heavier each day…and the tail is getting so much better!
Also, I just estimated his current weight using one of those weight tape measures…930lbs. I did “weigh” him when I first got him so I will start from 930lbs. even though I know he has put on some weight in the last month or so.

His tail is so much better and he has new hair growing where bald scabby skin used to be…I am so excited!!! I have attached the before and current photos of the tail area for you to check out. I am also going to take some body shots to compare to a month ago too. He is really good and I am so happy he found me :)

March 8,2010: Riley is doing well and gained a bit of weight slowly…I have ridden him and he is just so nice to be with and just enjoy being out without having to “think” about riding :)
