Veterinary Diagnosis: Auto Immune Disease & Chronic Colic
Horse Name and Age: Rosette, 19 yrs old
Owner and Location: Diana of Hampshire, England
Rosette is my 19 year old Thoroughbred who had taken ill a little over a year ago. She had lost a tremendous amount of weight regardless of how much I fed her. Her chronic colic was also a great concern, for these colic episodes were becoming more and more frequent as time went on.
Seeking out the counsel of well qualified and highly regarded specialists’ in the field of Equine health and development they concluded her diagnoses to be a long scientific name that which I am unable to pronounce, much less spell, but to sum it up, an auto-immune disease.
Through months of vast testing, medical procedures and medications, the road came to an end of a possible answer in aiding in the recovery of Rosette in during which time she continued to lose more weight. The amount of weight loss was devastating.
I then turned my attention towards a different vocation and found Lisa St. John, who’s approach is non invasive and sensible. I began noticing changes in her within a weeks’ time. Strength and unquestionable “life” began returning to Rosettes body. In three months Rosette had made a complete recovery.
To the astonishment of those who have deemed Rosette a hopeless case have now witnessed this miraculous happening, have become more attentive and have placed a respectable eye towards Lisa St.John and her practicality towards nutrition and the knowledge she has to bring to the Equine world of health and well being.
Thank you Lisa. –Diana
